FILM

Music has always been a huge part of my work. I have listened to albums and generated pages of work from the inspiration I draw from words and layers of sounds which heavily influence my work. I find film fascinating, and the mix of sound and art is something I want to pursue further. The below flipagrams are simple shorts I created using apps on my phone. I like the immediacy of taking photos of my work in progress, repeating, mirroring, warping and re-colouring my drawings, not being precious about what I produce, and overlaying it with some music I adore. Technology like this allows me to produce ideas as quickly as they come to me. And I use them to create starting points for new projects. I feel they create their own mood.
